Our Mission is to use
love as the common thread to unite people from all communities, of every
faith, so we may be anchored in the energy of inclusivity, acceptance,
oneness and unconditional love.
“Wake Up” To the Life
that Could be Yours March 28, 29, 2008, Events begins 7:30 pm

The WAKE UP Campaign
will be a two-day event held at the Wilshire Theatre to help open a dialogue
between the gay community, the church and other places of worship (March 28,
29, 2008). This campaign is designed to spread God’s real message of love,
acceptance and tolerance. Like the story of the Prodigal son, we are
reminded to accept others as we hope to be accepted ourselves. We are all
invited to His banquet table, regardless of race, gender, sex or sexuality
and we are called to love others unconditionally. With the true
understanding that Christ came so that we might have life and have it more
abundantly; this campaign will use faith, hope, love and forgiveness as
vehicles to gain a deeper sense of understanding and openness towards one
another. Speakers Brennan Manning (Ruthless Trust and Abba’s Child),
Colin Tipping
(Radical Forgiveness), Jay Bakker (“One Punk Under God”) and Bishop Carlton
Pearson pastor of New Dimensions Church (“Gospel of Inclusion”) will be
joined by celebrities from the world of music and entertainment to help
bring awareness and understanding of each other. Through this conversation
we can learn to love ourselves and others as we are, not as we (should)
be...despite our brokeness and our cracked imperfections. This campaign is
one that could be used around the country to perpetuate a new message and a
revolutionary movement regarding the enormity
