of the largest air force bases in the world, covering 724 square miles of
reservation and 97,963 square miles of water ranges in the Gulf of Mexico.
Hurlburt Field - Fort Walton Beach
Built on the Eglin Air Force Base
complex in the 1940s, Hurlburt Field is home of the Air Force Special
Operations Command and the 16th Special Operations. It is located in the
Fort Walton Beach area
MacDill Air Force Base - Tampa
MacDill Air Force Base is located
8 miles south of Tampa on the tip of Interbay Peninsula
Patrick Air Force Base - Cocoa Beach
Patrick Air Force Base is located
on the coastal Highway A1A near South Patrick Shores approximately 15 miles
south of Cape Canaveral, between Cocoa Beach and Satellite Beach.
Tyndall Air Force Base - southeast of Panama City
Tyndall Air Force Base is located
in Panama City, Florida, between the Gulf of Mexico and the Intercoastal
Waterway.

Jacksonville Naval Air Station
Jacksonville Naval Air Station is located in northeastern Florida, a few
miles south of downtown Jacksonville. Orange Park is just south of NAS
Jacksonville and the southern segment of the I-295 loop.

The Naval Air Station Key West is in Boca Chica where most operations occur.
Mayport Naval Station
Mayport Naval Station is located
on the St. Johns River in northeast Florida, near the Port of Jacksonville.
Pensacola Naval Air Station
Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City is located at the Coastal
Systems Station on St. Andrew Bay in Panama City, Florida. It is part of the
Dahlgren Division.
Whiting Field Naval Air Station - Milton
Whiting Field Naval Air Station is
located in western Florida, about 20 miles northeast of Pensacola.
