ECCLESIA OF FLORIDA

July 5, 2010

Greeting Ecclesia of Florida,

The task ahead of us is NEVER as great as the POWER within us.
 “I can do
all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”
Philippians 4:1

I do not want to wear out my “email welcome” but strongly feel to keep us informed.  With a number of the prophets aligning the Gulf Coast Oil Disaster with our treatment of Israel it is important that we stay focused.

We want to be found faithful to bless Israel and realizing the seriousness of our days I want to make sure we are aware that this is a time of Dire Straits for her.  As well as a reminding word that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is scheduled to visit our nation’s capital again this coming Tuesday, July 6th.

With Florida being home to the 3rd largest population of Jews in our nation we have such a privilege and responsibility to pray.   Something to consider: Have we ever thought that the teaching of Replacement Theology accuses the Lord of being a covenant breaker?

The Lord often spoke of His everlasting covenant with the Jews and Israel and thinking that He broke covenant with them to embrace us is a serious error and accusation against the Lord:

“He hath remembered His covenant forever, the word which He commanded to a thousand generations.  Which covenant He made with Abraham, and His oath unto Isaac and confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting   Psalm 105:8-10

“And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put My fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from Me. Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with My whole heart and with My whole soul. For thus saith the Lord; Like as I have brought all this great evil upon this people so will I bring upon them all the good that I have promised them.”   Jeremiah 32:40-42

“Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore. My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be My people.”    Ezekiel 37:26-27

Let us consistently check our hearts and make sure they are pure before the Lord.

I have included a teaching by Dr. Robert Heidler of Glory of Zion concerning the 9th of Av.

Breaking the Ninth of Av Curse

If you study the history of the Jews you discover something surprising. The Jews have experienced many calamities over the years, and most of those calamities have occurred on same day of the year, the 9th of AV.  It was on this date that both temples were destroyed and the final destruction of Jerusalem took place in 135.  Many other catastrophes took place on this date, including the expulsion from Gaza in 2005.

Originally, the 9th of Av was intended by God to be a day of joy and celebration.  It was to be the day Israel entered the land of promise at Kadish Barnea.  Spies had been sent in to the land and brought back the good fruit of the land for people to taste.  But because of the negative report by 10 spies, they chose the path of unbelief and refused to enter God's promise.  Because of their unbelief, the entire nation came under a curse that persists to this day.  Each year as the 9th of Av comes, the entire nation fasts and prays for the curse to be broken.  Yet true repentance has never taken place!

How do we know that Israel has not repented of the sin of Kadish Barnea?  It's because when Jesus the Messiah came, they again repeated the same sin!  They again tasted the fruit of God's promise; they saw the miracles and heard His teaching, but Israel's leaders again chose not to enter God's promise.

I believe that one day the 9th of Av curse will be broken.  The curse will only break when the nation truly repents of unbelief and their rejection of God's promise.  When that happens, the fullness of God's blessing will be released and the 9th of Av can be restored as a day of fulfillment and celebration.

I believe this day is fast approaching.  The evidence is that many thousands of Jews ARE choosing to receive God's promised Messiah.  They are rejecting the unbelief of many generations and choosing to enter God's promise!  Jew and gentile are becoming one in the Messiah as the promised "One New Man!"  Let us pray that the day will soon come when all the people of Israel can truly experience every blessing God gives!  By Robert Heidler

The current Jewish month of Tamuz ends Sunday, July 11th and the month of Av begins on the 12th.  Jewish Year 5770: the 2010 9th of Av begins sunset July 20, 2010 - nightfall July 21, 2010

I have also attached a recent word from John Kilpatrick for your review.

Blessing Israel and her people from Florida,

Diane
