East Coast

·         First Coast  - NE Florida Coastline from Georgia to Ormond beach includes St. Augustine (founded in 1565 as the nations first city, which is where the name comes from)

·         Space Coast - CE Florida Coastline from Ormond Beach to Vero Beach includes the Kennedy Space Center (hence the name!)

·         Treasure Coast - Fort Pierce to Boca Raton including Palm Beach.

·         Gold Coast - Palm Beach thru Fort Lauderdale and Miami Coastline where the term "gold" refers to the property investments made by some of the wealthiest people moving and buying in the area.

West Coast

·         Lee Island Coast - Lee County's Coastline

·         Cultural Coast - Sarasota's Coastline named for the cultural arts that Sarasota is so rich in. Includes Ana Maria Island, Siesta Key, and Lido Key

·         Sun Coast - St. Petersburg - Clearwater coastline and barrier islands also known as "Florida's Beach"

·         Nature Coast - Pasco County north to Cedar Key this coastline is rich in natural habitats.

·         Emerald Coast - Panhandle coastline between Panama City and Perdido Key includes Pensacola.

·         Forgotten Coast - Gulf County, Mexico Beach, Port St. Joe, Cape San Blas, Apalachicola, St. George Island

Other Coasts

·         Palm Coast refers to a city in Flagler County and is actually part of coastline region that is referred to as the First Coast.
