~ An Opening Statement ~
 

The purpose of this link is to educate the Body of Christ concerning the doctrines of various Corrupt Religious Systems (Roman Catholicism, Mormonism, Jehovah Witness, etc.) and where they are in conflict with the Holy Bible. 

A number of years ago the Lord began to stir deeply in our hearts His desire to draw multitudes out of these doctrines—doctrines that separate a man from having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  He spoke to us of His power and love to open the prison door and set the captive free.

What constitutes a religious system being corrupt?  I think two basics are:

·        Doctrine that is taken from anything outside of Holy Scripture and

·        Salvation through a means other than Christ alone

For example; the Roman Catholic Church teaches that their Catechism is equal in truth to the Bible, and that there are a number of ways to gain salvation. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint puts its faith in the Book of Mormon as a “companion” to the Bible and teaches salvation by works, and not grace and faith in Christ Jesus alone.

We want to make it clear that we are not against the people involved in these faiths.   For any of you reading this link, we hope you will understand that we are not judging your heart’s fidelity to God.  We recognize the devotion you have and that you are given to great discipline in your devotions.  Our concerns are that the doctrines you have been taught have evolved from the philosophies and traditions of men and are in conflict with the Holy Bible. 

“Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit,
after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world,
and not after Christ.”
Colossians 2:8

    “Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.  For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.  And He said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition. Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.”
Mark 7:7-9, 13

This link documents the primary teachings of these various religious systems as taught through their writings and then where they are in conflict with the Bible.  We have been very careful to maintain accuracy and proper documentation in presenting this information to you.

Our desire is that multitudes come to know, the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost (2 Corinthians 13:14).
